Government Relations Australia is a strategic advisory firm specialising in public policy and government affairs.

Established in 1992, the firm is at the forefront of Australia’s government relations sector with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth (through
GRA-Everingham ), and unparalleled networks in government across the country.  GRA’s key objective is to assist clients maximise the effectiveness of their engagement with government and the public policy process to further their organisational objectives.

The firm’s team comprises senior and highly experienced people drawn from varied backgrounds including elected government, senior ministerial advisory positions, departmental agencies, industry groups and the private sector. The broad-based and bipartisan composition of the senior team provides GRA’s clients with a unique blend of political and commercial expertise.

The firm works with Australian and international clients and is engaged on both a long-term and project-specific basis. GRA is active across all significant industry sectors and in relation to Federal and all State and Territory Governments.  GRA and its team is registered under the Australian Government’s Lobbying Code of Conduct and the equivalent code in Western Australia.

Through GRA Asia, and a resident office in Beijing, the firm also assists companies in the establishment and development of their government and commercial relationships in Asia, with a particular focus on China, Thailand and Taiwan.

In 1998, the firm entered into a strategic alliance with Australia’s largest marketing and communications group, Clemenger Group Limited, and the worldwide Omnicom group of companies.  GRA has ongoing associations with leading government relations firms in the United States, United Kingdom and elsewhere in the world.
